This 30-credit, 10-course program can be completed in a little as two years, but allows a flexible timeline for working educators.
The Wilkes University Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership is designed specifically for international educators, with courses that address the unique challenges faced when educating diverse students for an increasingly global and technological society.
The Ed.D. requires 60 post-master’s credits, which include 12 credits of research and 9 credits of dissertation and can be completed in as little as three years, or up to seven. Coursework is built around educational theory and research, combined with key connections to classroom technology and leadership practice in the international educational environment.
A hybrid format, blending online learning with face-to-face sessions, allows students to progress through the coursework as a cohort and engage with university faculty in a supportive and interactive learning environment.
